Pastor Otis, Senior Pastor of New Creation Christian Church was born in Monroe, LA., 1960 to the late Florene Brown and late Robert William.  He moved to the Bastrop area in 1972 where he attended Henry V. Adams Elementary school, Bastrop Junior High and Bastrop High School, graduating in 1979.  He accepted a four year football and track scholarship to Jackson State University (JSU) in Jackson, Mississippi.  He thought the main purpose for attending JSU was to play football and to run track.  However on Sept 24, 1979, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. After four years at JSU, he was drafted ninth round into the National Football League to the St. Louis Cardinals and the twenty-eighth round to the Oakland Invaders in the United States Football League.  After his football career ended, he moved back to the St. Louis area and united with Transformation Christian Church and World Outreach Center under the leadership of Pastor Precillious J. Burruss and the late Richard Burruss.  He was licensed and ordained as a minister by the late Dr. Richard Burruss and Pastor Precillious Burruss.  Pastor Otis is currently employed by the Federal Government and has held the position of Financial Analyst for 28 years. He married his beautiful wife, Alesia Covington, February 10, 2001. He and his wife founded the dynamic ministry, New Creation Christian Church, in Bastrop, LA on September 5, 2010.  His passion is teaching the uncompromising Word of God to a lost and hurting generation of people. His desire is to transform the people through the word of God. Another desire is to help them reach their God given potential by showing them who they are in Christ. He and his wife are the proud parents of three wonderful children, Otis Jerrell, Candice Alexandra and Joseph Alexander. They are also the proud grandparents of Kendall Futrell.

Pastor Alesia is the second child born March 24, 1963 to Wendell and Delores Covington in Centreville, IL.   She rededicated her life to the Lord in January 1991, and has faithfully served God since then.  She united with Transformation Christian Church under the leadership of the Late Richard Burruss and Pastor Precillious J. Burruss where she served faithfully for over 20 years in various areas of ministry. She met and married Otis Brown February 10, 2001.  She Co-founded New Creation Christian Church September 5, 2010.  She accepted the calling of God to preach and teach the Word of God with her husband in October, 2012.  She is a full time licensed Physical Therapist, Praise and Worship leader, Teacher of the Gospel as well as fulfilling her gifts and talents in other areas.  Her greatest passion is to teach the Word of God and to help others recognize and reach their God given potential by showing them who they are in Christ.  She and her husband are the proud parents of three wonderful children, Otis Jerrell, Candice Alexandra and Joseph Alexander. She and her husband are also the proud grandparents of Kendall Futrell.

New Creation Women's ministry ministers to the lost and hurting women of every walk of life, transforming them through the word of God. At the end of each year we minister to our women through our annual Women's Conference which has brought great deliverance and healing.
